The Gamot Law Firm has been practicing law in Palm Beach County for over 40 years.
About Our Firm
Continuity and longevity of legal excellence is an accurate descriptor of this boutique family law firm in Palm Beach County, Florida. The Gamot Law Firm was incorporated in 1999 by husband–and–wife Albert and Melinda Gamot, and daughter N. Nicole Gamot. The three had practiced for many years prior. All three were born and raised in Palm Beach County, giving them an institutional knowledge of the community.
Through the years the Gamots developed a reputation for efficiency, and cost–effective litigation. The small, intimate size of the firm allowed streamlined mobility not found in larger firms. It permitted the lawyers and staff to focus on the needs of each individual case, and the needs of each family.
The dynamics of each family are unique to that family, and the best solutions are as varied as the individual. Some cases are ripe for immediate settlement; others require resolution by the Court. Recognizing those differences is key to solving each case. The lawyers and staff see themselves as professional problem solvers. Every problem is different, and thus every solution may be different. Experience teaches that resolving problems quickly allows the healing to start sooner. Outcomes in the family arena are often predictable. The difference is the approach: straight–line resolution or wandering trails that can take forever. The Firm recommends the straightest line.
The firm and its lawyers and paralegals have been recognized for their expertise by a variety of rating entities. Please review the individual profiles for more specific information on each professional.
Albert passed away in 2020, just as he completed his 50–year membership with the Florida and Mississippi Bars. His wife and daughter will continue to carry out the same legacy of excellence as has been practiced by the firm since its inception. The firm practices primarily in Palm Beach, Matin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties. Its lawyers are happy to travel outside those boundaries when cost effective for the client.
